Afternoon Delight!

We had a fantastic Mother's Day celebration this past Sunday! I love it when the entire family gets together for these very special occasions. Holly's folks, Don and Darlene and her mom Angela, were all able to come over for the afternoon. So Brayden got attention from all the grandparents!!  Both Banner families made it along with good friend Renee and her kids as her husband just deployed this past week for another three months... so was great to have them join us too.

Brayden arrived without a nap so the poor little guy was tuckered out before we even started! We got him to lay down for a few minutes before everyone arrived... but then it was time to party! Jerry BBQ'd chicken and burgers and everyone brought something to share... even some champagne and strawberries for the moms! We had everything from baked beans to cream puffs! It was awesome!

After eating we didn't wait 30 minutes.. more like 30 seconds and many of us were in the pool... including Caleb and Noah and Rebekah and John.... plus Brayden of course with both Grandmas!

Later they played lawns games and David had even brought down Brayden's golf clubs so Brayden got a little practice with Grandfather! We enjoyed desserts and ate and talked and ate and laughed and relaxed... then Caleb and Noah brought out their guitars and started the music... Geoff was doing an awesome job singing along with them.. just was a blast... and such a great gift for not just the moms but everyone so enjoyed listening.

Here's a four generation picture....
