Going to be Gone

You do know you only have a week or so before the current Sampin' Up Catalog is kaprish... nada.... vamoosed... evaparado... disappearedid... (Yes I'm making up words now)...

So now's the time to take another quick look through the catalog and be sure you don't miss out... Season of  Friendship is one of the cutest sets and a great "go to" set when you want to create something cool and easy...

Here Mary Brown used it with the Berry Blossom paper (also soon to be retired)... they are just adorable together!  The base of the card is Calypso Coral with the Calypso Coral polka dotted panel added to it. The tag is from the Two Tags die, the tree is stamped in Early Espresso, and about a million leaves in Lucky Limeade cut out and and added to the tree using glue dots. She also punched some bitty flowers in Wisteria Wonder, added with glue dots and put a rhinestone in the center, and lastly stamped the bird in Calypso Coral and cut out and added  She did just the bottom of the tag in the flower print and added to the tag to make it a little longer.

At least the Happiness greeting from Loving Thoughts set will be carried over into the new catalog. She stamped it in Early Espresso, cut into a banner, added a Lucky Limeade Printed Brad and added to the tag using glue dots and dimensionals.  The bow is made using Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon and a clear rhinestone brad (can you BELIEVE…they are RETIRING THESE TOO!), which were added to the top of the tag then added the tag to the card base using dimensionals.

And look she made a matching picture frame to create a completely perfect set... what a wonderful gift that will make! She used the Calypso Coral to cover the mat that came with the frame.   Then added a strip of the flowered print, with a Wisteria Wonder scallop edge behind it to a piece of Whisper White and added that behind the mat.  The tree was stamped, cut out and added to the frame using dimensionals.  Same flowers and birds as above.  She made this bow from Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon and a Clear Rhinestone brad, and added it to a banner (same as above) and added to the frame.  And look how cute she finished off the frame by adding a couple rhinestones on the side.
