Trick r' Treat!

Sunday evening the Old Poway Midland Train Park had it's annual Halloween Haunted Event.... so the kids had come down (also to celebrate David's birthday...you'll see on tomorrow's blog). We headed over after dinner on Sunday and had a great time.

Before we got going, Brayden put on his Jake the Neverland Pirate costume....

love the eye patch...

and two swords!!

He could only handle the eye patch for a little while...

Once we got over to the park there was a good crowd there already...
so many (mostly adults) dressed up... some pretty scary!

Others more our speed... like the Monsters Inc family....

And my favorite... Jake!

Jake and his family...

They had carnival games the kids could play for free and win candy...
here's Brayden waiting his turn in the Fountain line where they had
rubber duck races.

Grandma D was trying to get him to share some candy....

and here Brayden sits between his two favorite grandpas...
don't ya love that hair?

Brayden playing the ring toss game...

Many of the assistants were "Queens" from the Community...

Here's a darling two cow family...

Jake stops to play Bean Bag Toss....

We had a great time and started to wind down....
here he is chillin with dad... now Brayden is using the
hair headband as a blindfold...yep think we're getting tired!

OK now dad's being silly and turns it around to see if
he makes a better Aunt Jemimah than a Jake...

I think he's kinda cute...

OK so now we really are getting silly..
especially when Grandpa tries the hairpiece.....

Think everyone's had way too
much sugar and time to head home!
Trick r'Treat everyone ~
have fun with those little gobblins of yours!
