Elphaba - The Wicked Witch!


This is pretty creative... found this on Elizabeth Schwerm's blog... not necesarily about Halloween.. but it's about the Broadway Musical WICKED.. which I absolutely loved and saw a couple of times myself!  After all, is ther a better song than "Defying Gravity" ????

Supplies and Directions: Almost everything is Stampin' Up!
Card size is 9" by 4" & fits in a business size envelope.
Dress Up Framelits - There are so many fun dresses and styles you could create!
Large Oval Punch for face
Word Window Punch for arms and sentiment
7/8" scallop punch for her hair
Modern Label punch for sentiment
Lips were trimmed very carefully from a very tiny heart.
Cut out point of the hat with the paper trimmer.
The rim of the hat is trimmed from a large scallop circle that was traced

The background paper DSP Modern Medley
Basic Black for base of card and her wardrobe and hair.
Old Olive, of course, for the greens.

Her wardrobe pieces were ran through the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder
Her skirt has two more layers below the original dress and then layers off to each side.
