Up Close & Personal

As promised.. here's the cards we made on Saturday....

You already saw my pop up card
in the sneak peek last week.....
but here it is again....

You are My Sunshine!

Nautical yet with a little bling....

The new watercolor effect is just so
dang cute and elegant at the same time!

Yipes Stripes...
that's for sure!
Got the stripes and paper angles
going every which way... love it!

This Kinda Koala is Kinda Kute...
at least I think so!
I used the dry emboss technique and first
outlined the little koala bear before
rubbing it out to create semi 3D image...
I colored the little guy with Blendabilities and then
stuffed very small part of cotton balls on the
back side before adhering it to the Soft Suede CS.
It gave it the puffed up look... love it!

Since the new SU Holiday Catalog begins next week
I couldn't help but make a couple cards to get the
holiday juices flowing!

Absolutely love the new swirl embossing folder...
look closely and you can see the itty bitty daisy on each side...
that will make for an adorable garden card!
In the mean time, it's Christmas all the way!

I couldn't decide which Christmas version to make...
so you know me... Ms Undecisive....
so went with two different designs...
Here's the Christmas tree version:

I've been wanting to use the new DSP super thin
newsprint paper and came up with this adorable vintage card....
I wadded up the DSP then smoothed it back out
before flattening it to the cardstock,
gives it that old vintage look... purposely wanting winkles to show
along with the delicate ribbon that is!

I just love the new In Colors... especially Lost Lagoon.... can you tell???

Here's a card I must give credit to Lynette
She created the idea for our Crazy Card Club using
inside pop up flowers as a surprise....
She also helped me do all the die cutting of the flowers!
(Thank you Lynette!!!)

Well that was about it...
now I really gotta get my brain in gear for the holidays...
We're at the 90 day countdown!
