Hard at Play

It never fails. I don't think I've ever seen a little kid who isn't more excited and interested in a cardboard box or empty bag than the brand new toys that came in it... it's so true. Well.. for a minute at least... Brayden proved that theory too. He has several toys to play with now... especially since he's crawling around and able to easily entertain himself for quite some time...

He received so many gifts at Christmas from friends and family, that several of them were "saved" or just not age appropriate at the time. So along with all the necessities David brought for Brayden, he tossed in a couple of the new Christmas toys yet to be played with. Friday night, since Jerry was watching the Nascar races, we opened up the remote race car...  Brayden loved it... you can adjust the wheels so the car will either go straight or around in circles... and the thing is the noise from the matching checkered flag rattle activates the remote and the cars revs up and goes! Amazing... what will they come up with next....

And of course he loves my camera... here he's headed right toward me and starts to crawl up to grab that flashing light and dangling camera wrist band...

I think he's all boy.. between the race car and the baseball...there's no doubt!
