Just because Valentine's Day has come and gone.... doesn't mean we can't keep making some beautiful "heart" cards, right? And once you see this, you're gonna want to make one too... if not dozens!
Gretchen Barron created this using the Big Shot and the Scallop Envelope Die for the rectangular focal piece. You can tuck into the envelope the double-layer heart created with the new Hearts Collection Framelets Dies (it's a sweet little surprise that can be easily removed).
Embellishments include Self-adhesive Basic Pearls, Sale-a-Bration 1/8" Organza Ribbon, the Boho Blossoms Punch, the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Folder and Stampin' Dimensionals. The bow is attached using Crystal Effects. She used two stamp sets -- Language of Friendship and Grateful Greetings.
Here's the measurements for this card, in case you want to use it as inspiration for your own!
- Layer Two -- Pool Party Cardstock cut at 4 x 5.25"
- Layer Three -- DSP cut at 5 1/8" x 1 7/8"
- Layer Four -- DSP cut at 5 1/8" x 7/8" -- attach the envelope with Stampin' Dimensionals
You can see a peek of the inside in this photo. She embellished it with a flourish stamped with Lucky Limeade ink and popped up a couple more of the flowers with pearl embellishments and then attached another tiny little bow.
This very thin organza ribbon is so thin that
you can even add these bows to the inside of
the cards without adding a lot of bulk!
