Overdue Visit

We hadn't been up to Murietta for quite some time to visit the kids as through out the summer they came down to us to not only get out of the heat, but to get into the pool too!  So yesterdayI wanted to get up there to see what Brayden has been doing.. rather than just hearing him on the phone... when we talk he's usually in the middle of playing kick ball or riding his bicycle... and I just don't get too "see" that through the phone call.... even Skype doesn't work that well!

Brayden is talking so much now... so fun to "communicate" with him... whether it's putting together a puzzle or playing ball with him...

He use to sit and ride his Thomas the Train toy.... 

now he prefers "driving" it like a shopping cart...

easier to pop wheelies that way!

We worked on his Thomas puzzle and got it all put together...

He loves to draw on the chalk board....

actually I think he likes to erase even more!

Time for a snack with Grandpa..... nice cold watermelon slices!

He loves riding his balancing bike... 

I guess it's the newest thing to teach the kids

balance before learning to peddle.. 

I don't know, does that mean he'll not have to use training wheels...

gosh that was always the fun part of learning how to

ride a bike.. especially when those training wheels came off...

remember?? Or am I dating myself here???

but I tell ya one thing... it's super quiet!!

Just glides across the floor..

but man can he go!

....cuz ya know Grandma's such a good story teller....

.... yeah right... so good that he feel right to sleep ....

... just plum tuckered out after all that playing!
