Just What I Wanted!

We had a fantastic time spending Christmas with the family... and I've just now been able to get the pictures downloaded from my camera... so better late than never...

Geoff and Claire hosted a fantastic Christmas dinner and afterwards we ripped into open gifts to see what Santa brought.....  Brayden was so dang cute.... and got the hang of it really quickly!!

 

But it was just too funny when opening up this Fisher Price Firetruck Set he looked up at me and exclaimed "Just What I Wanted!!"  ... thing is he never told any of us what he "wanted".... how did he even know to say that? It was a crack up!

Did you notice how patient he is waiting for

dad to get the goods out of the box .... 

 this is my very favorite.... can you see Brayden in this picture??

we didn't even notice he had climbed up into the box while waiting...

Afterwards we all chilled just sitting and talking.... then Claire snuggled with Brayden and turned on "Curious George" video and Brayden was mesmerized....

we tried to get him to pose for a picture and said to "put your cheeks together" ... he thought that meant to put his own checks together so he worked on poking his cheeks.... all the while not taking his eyes off Curious George... oh well

then enjoyed a Happy Birthday Jesus cupcake together...

complete with milk of course...
