Belly Band Boxes!

Are you noticing a theme here this week? Seems so far all my projects include food.... Here's another idea from Laura Haffke.... Candy Box with Belly Band!

Know someone who's not feeling well or needs a little encouragement.... A cute box filled with chocolates can make their day much better!  These boxes were designed to hold the miniature candy bars about 6-9 fit wonderfully inside.  But just a warning... when I make these somehow only 3 made it to the box  before the lid got put on! The lid fits nicely, but the belly band made with the Tag Topper added a tuxedo vest look!

Stamp Set: It's a Wrap Occasions
Ink:  Stazon Black
Card Stock:  Basic Black, Very Vanilla, DSP- Modern Medley
And More:  Boho Blossom Punch, Small Heart Punch, Candy Dots, Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon

Here's the dimensions:

And while we're on the subject of boxes and chocolates...
look what Becky from Idaho made...
she resurrected the ol' pizza box idea and
turned it into another idea ... filled with chocolates!

They are super cute using the new spiral flower die!

Should you want to make one for yourself....
Cut the cardstock to 7 1/4 x 4
Score the long side at 3/4, 3 1/4, 4 and 6 1/2
Score the short side at 3/4 and 3 1/4

The belly band is 1 x 7 1/2.
Fold as you go around the box
for the best fit, then take it off and score the folds.

The leaves under the flower are made with the Blossom Punch.

TaaDaa!
