Altered Milk Carton Boxes

Creations on Paper Tutorial

Apparently these boxes were a hit at this year's Stampin' Up Convention... here's the detailed instructions.

With two 5-1/2" x 6" Cardstock pieces, use the BigShot Milk Carton Die. Position your cardstock from the seam or tab of the box die. As a result, the other side of the cardstock will only have a portion of the 4th side of the box.

Cut the partial piece of the box. Then, fold all scores.

Now with Sticky Strip or Crystal Effects glue together

To assemble the box, glue the Cardstock pieces as illustrated.

Then cut the bottom flap corners of the box for easy bottom seal.

TIP: To position your box well, I'd put a round item (maybe a ball or a 2-3/4" diameter sauce dish)

To punch holes on the top edge of the box opening, use the 3/16" hole of the Crop-a-Dial. Punch the hole right in the middle of each fold as illustrated.

Viola!!! You have your gorgeous box!

Tomorrow I'll show you some more darling ideas....
