Notably Ornate Tag

Another incredible Tag by Kay... she has these challenges that are just too creative... this one she clipped pictures from last year's SU Catalog, gave one in an envelope to each participant as their inspiration photo... They were to go home and create a tag to compliment the photo.

Here's the one she did herself... the photo in the catalog:

The tag she was inspired to create:

Here's how she did it.. she used the Two Tags Die and the Big Shot Machine to create her tag from Naturals Ivory  card stock. The scallops along the right edge were from a scrap, originally a part of a cut out using the Clear Scallop Square Die. She used the same stamp set, Notably Ornate and pretty much followed the same layout. She stamped the frame a second time on River Rock card stock and cut a portion out to layer behind the bird providing a bit more contrast. If you look closely you can get a better appreciation of the jewels . . . but the best part is she colors the Rhinestones with Sharpie Markers. Is that crazy or what!!

Stamps: Notably Ornate
Paper: Naturals Ivory, River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla to stamp the bird onto, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Tools: Big Shot Machine, Two Tags Die, Clear Scallop Square Die, Paper Piercer for placing the rhinestones
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones, Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon, Linen Thread
Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals

Tag.. you're it.. now go make one yourself!
