We are excited to share our life with you and invite you to do the same! Life is precious and each day is a gift! We all know how quickly it passes us by. We may not have it all together, but together we have it all!
I know several of you receive the SU Paper Pumpkin monthly kits.... and I know the June kit was just adorable.... perfect for 4th of July celebration projects... here's a few ideas from Lyssa Griffin
Paper Pinwheel Wreath Project
The kit (which isn't always a card kit) for June makes 24 paper pinwheels, and comes with both cellophane treat bags, or striped paper straws, so you could make pinwheel bouquets or treats for summer parties and barbeques. Lyssa was clever enough to make a banner, and decorate a twig wreath for the front door.
The pinwheels were super easy to put together because everything was pre-cut and the hole for the center brad was even pre-punched. My kind of project!
The banner is cute, but another idea would be to adhere the pinwheels to a large, full-sized pennant. The weight of them can cause them to hang their heads, which makes it cuter when viewed from a lower level than it is from looking at it above or straight on.
Even after making the wreath and the banner, she still had six pinwheels left, so she made this bouquet with a Mason jar and some paper shreds. Doesn't it just make you want to have a backyard party?
And check out this adorable box that Allison made using the same Paper Pumpkin Kit.
