Father's Day Shirt Card

OK Carol... is this better??? ... might be easier than the "tie" cards last week......  try this for Father's Day... I got it form Debbie Henderson...

Directions: Using Whisper White Cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/2". One side will be longer that the other when folded. Using the 4 1/2" side of your card, find the center and cut off that piece (2 1/4"). Take the piece that you just cut off and glue by overlapping 1/4" back on the other half making sure you don't glue about a 3/4" inch at the top. This is where you will fold both pieces in at an angle to create the shirt collar:

For the next step, cut out 2 pieces of DSP 2 1/4" x 5.5", this one is from the Brights Patterns Paper Pack in Old Olive. Again, glue the 2 pieces of DSP to the front of the Whisper White layer so that they overlap 1/4" and making sure you don't glue 2" at the top. You will again fold the unglued part to form the 2nd collar. Add embellishments such as buttons to your shirt to make it masculine. Add a handmade pocket to the front also with an embellishment!
