Non-Traditional Ornament Colors

Now who would'a thought that using the Christmas ornament stamped in Early Espresso would have been so gorgeous!!! Carrie Gaskin.. that's who.

For this card she used the Holiday Mini Hostess set, Warmest of Wishes.
Start with a Soft Suede card base and stamp it with the wreath from this stamp set. Next, use the large NOEL stamp and stamp it on Soft Suede cardstock and layer with Early Espresso and secured it to the left. Don't forget to add some Soft Suede taffeta ribbon.

She first stamped the Ornate Blossom in Soft Suede on some Confetti White cardstock. Then sponge the edges. Next  punch out an Ornament with the Ornament punch in Early Espresso. The ornament from Tags Til Christmas was next stamped in Early Espresso ink on some soft Suede cardstock. Punch it out with the Ornament punch and then trim around the outside a bit so you could see the Early Espresso ornament below.

The banner is cut using the Petal Cone Big Shot Die and is sponged and stamped with a sentiment from Four the Holidays.

Lastly, take a piece of Linen Thread and tie a bow on a Mini Jingle Bell. Adhere with Tombow Multi Adhesive.

I know these are not your typical holiday colors but this card is full of rich details and surprising colors.
