Christmas in July!

I must admit I have a small stash of old Stampin Up Cardstock...just like Yvette Ashe admits in her blog.... especially the Brilliant colors that went so well with everything!.... Here's a beautiful example of using the Brilliant Blue... perfect for a "blue Christmas" card....

The  “poinsettia” is made by punching several petals with the Blossom Petals Builder Punch and then using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to score each petal down the center. To assemble the flower, punch a 1-1/4″ circle out of scrap cardstock and sticky strip or heavy adhesive to attach each petal to the circle, working around and around until the flower seemed full enough. The antique brad in the center provided a nice, elegant finish to the flower.

Stamps: Come to Bethlehem

Since the Brilliant Blue has long been retired, we definitely can say
I'll have a Blue Christmas Without You!!!
