Weekly Wake Up Call - Compliment Strangers

Here's a Random Act I think will end up differently than you expect... Compliment Total Strangers. It will change you from the inside out... why? Instead of shopping for groceries like a horse with blinders on, you'll be looking for the good in others... instead of feeling frustrated that the line you're in at Walmart is moving the slowest, you'll look at others waiting with you and become overwhelming optimistic inside... and notice things you might not have noticed otherwise about the people around you...  hummm... let's give it a try this week! It actually might be quite refreshing!

This whole Weekly Wake Up  thing has been a great source of fulfilment for me. I read a quote (that is attributed to Mother Teresa) that I wanted to share with you.... all excellent goals or ideals we can all use!

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.

Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends

and some genuine enemies.

Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.

Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.

Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.

Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten.

Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.

Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God.

It was never between you and them anyway.

Isn't that cool?

It  puts to shame all my reasons for holding back and keeping to myself.
