Allen had just returned from a week's get-away to a Ceramics Conference/Class he attended so I hadn't seen him for awhile.... his garden was overflowing when he returned home so he brought a bowl full of cherry tomatoes .... which made for our "salad" with the enchiladas.... don't these look awesome (0h yes and I get to keep the ceramic bowls he brought them in... yippeee!)....
And Brayden loved them!! He just wanted more and more....
Didn't want to over-do it with him so ended with some animal crackers
which of course he loves too!!!
We played quite a while with Winnie the Pooh airplane riding toy.. Jerry put in some new batteries and it made a world of a difference.. we didn't even know the propeller lit up!! Must have kept Brayden entertained for a sold 20 minutes nearly just staring at it and pushing the button over and over!!! You can't tell in the pictures but it spins around pretty fast and plays music... you can kinda see it in the second picture here...
Every time Brayden comes, we play with these stacking bowls... and from day one I use to play "peek a boo" through them and look at him through the hole.. to this day Bayden imitates that every time.... without fail!
But it was the Winnie the Pooh that he coming back to...
Finished the evening off with some more playing and then started to wind down and get some comfort from his sippy cup... trying to get him off the bottle... slowly... Oh and David bought a gate to put up at the stairs instead of chasing him constantly up and down... darn that's how I was getting my exercise!!!
Pretty much after that he was ready to konk out since he'd gone nearly all day without a nap... so David loaded up everything and hit the road.. just hope Brayden didn't cat nap on the ride home enough to keep him up all night.... and instead went home and straight to bed... hummm.. guess I'll find out soon enough!
What an awesome evening!!
xoxoxoxo
