Label Shadow Tutorial

Have you ever wondered how they get the "double" label or shadow look created? Actually it's very cool and easy..   here's how you create a "larger" size of the same punch to layer and give your image a shadow look...

Step One:
Punch two side pieces using the Decorative Label Punch. You can punch these just from the edge of a piece of cardstock or you can use those narrow strips that always seem to end up in your scrap basket. You only need to punch out about 1/2" of the side of the punch shape. Again, Punch two of the side pieces.

Step Two:
Punch two pieces from the top or bottom of the punch (they are identical). Again, you only need to punch a piece that is about 1/2" deep.

Step Three:
Lay all 4 punches pieces out to form the outline for your Decorative Label punch.

Step Four:
Using mono adhesive on the back of your label (the full label punch that you have stamped on), line up the four outline pieces so there is an even border on all four sides of the punch. Adhere the label to your project using mono adhesive tape or Stampin' Dimensionals.

That's all there is to it! Easy peazy, lemon squeezy!

Happy Stamping!
