Halloween Hoot Owls

Look at these adorable Hoot Owls ready for Halloween!!! Again Cards I case'd (from Creations on Paper) so you're welcome to copy and share as well!  The directions are listed with the Stampin' Up supplies.

Vampire & Mummy Owls



VAMPIRE OWL
Cardstock:
- Real Red (the cape and suit)
- Basic Black (the owl)
- Bashful Blue (for the eyelids)
- Concord Crush- In Color #119792 (the background)
Punch and Big Shot:
- Owl Punch #118074
- Bitty Bat Punch #119279 (for the bat cape wings- 2 pieces for each side
- 2-1/2" Circle Punch #120906 - from Holiday Mini Catalog for the background
- 1/2" Circle Punch #119869(for the eyelids)
- Textured Embossing Folder - Spider Web #120889 - from Holiday Mini Catalog
NOTE: Use White Gel Pen to draw little fangs

MUMMY OWL
Cardstock:
- Very Vanilla (for the owl) Punch 2 owl pieces then cut 1 owl in strips
       then sponge with Soft Suede ink. Position strips alternately as illustrated
- Basic Black (for eyes)
- Chocolate Chip Brown (background)

Punch and Big Shot:
- Owl Punch #118074
- 2-1/2" Circle Punch #120906 - from Holiday Mini Catalog for the background
- Textured Embossing Folder - Spider Web #120889 - from Holiday Mini Catalog

NOTE: Don't forget to sponge your background with Whisper White CRAFT ink!



Franky Owl



Isn't he so cute. To make the top of Franky's hair just punch a basic black piece with 3/4" square punch and shape it as illustrated

Use the 2-1/2" Circle XL punch #120906 from the new Holiday Mini Catalog  for the circle background and emboss it with the Textured Embossing Folder - Perfect Polka Dots. #117335


Witch Owl


 
I saved the best for last... at least this one is my favorite.... too cute little witch owl on her broom!
 
It's time to bring out those fantastic Halloween colors of orange, green, yellow, purple and black. But of course, speaking in SU! language, it's:


- Pumpkin Pie or Peach Parfait (In Color)
- Old Olive or Pear Pizzazz (In Color)
- Daffodil Delight
- Rich Razzleberry or Concord Crush (In Color)
- Basic Black


Tools used to make the Witch Owl:

- Owl Punch (for the owl ensemble)
- Small Oval Punch (for the rim of the hat)
- 1/2" circle punch (for eyelids)
- Bird Punch (for the broom stick handle)
- White Gel Pen - to highlight eyes
- Whisper White Craft Ink (for sponging black parts of the owl)


NOTE: To make the tip of the Witch's Hat, cut one ear side of the owl and adhere on top of the hat rim.
