I participate with several other avid stampers in what I call a TV Card Swap. We all enjoy the “reality” programs where there’s team competition.. it started with Survivor and Amazing Race and has progressed to Project Runway, Next Food Network Star, Next HGTV Design Star.. you get the idea. Players or teams from these shows are drawn from a hat and assigned to the gals participating in the swaps… Each of us contribute a specific number of hand stamped cards into a “kitty” then as we watch the series and as teams get eliminated you win or lose cards. It’s a lot of fun and gets us more involved and interested to cheer on specific contestants. Another fun aspect is this isn’t just “local” stampers… there are gals from Florida to Wisconsin and Texas to Minnesota.. and of course several here in California.
Last night in fact the Next Food Network show ended with Aarti as the winner… so lucky Judee was our big winner and earned 15 cards for having the 1st place winner. … way to go Judee! Also cards will be given to those placing 2nd 3rd and 4th place as well… we even give one card to “the first loser” cuz it’s a bummer to be knocked out so quickly.
